Regardless of your age or propensity for adventure, you have to go up the Skyline Gondola when you visit Queenstown. It’s a little terrifying if you don’t have a head for heights, but it’s totally worth it when you get to the top. The views are simply stunning. Pretty much every iconic photo of Queenstown you’ve ever seen was taken from the observation deck at the top of the gondola.

Both from the restaurant and from the lakeview rooms. Stay here if you’re looking for a 5 star view on a 4 star budget.

Mi-pad Smart hotel is indeed smart; it makes the most of its small footprint and location. You could say it’s the perfect hotel for couples on a budget.
