Novotel Queenstown Lakeside Overview
Novotel Queenstown Lakeside sits smack bang in the middle of Queenstown CBDs waterfront. It’s right on Queenstown Bay Beach. Absolute lakefront in the heart of the CBD, it’s easily the best located 4 star hotel in Queenstown. It’s perfect for families with young kids as there’s a large playground in Queenstown Gardens adjacent to the hotel. It’s also great for couples looking for romance on a budget and conferences. Novotel is targeted at the upper end of the 4 star market.
The rooms are not huge at 26 square meters but they are big enough. Book one with a view if you can. There’s also a gym and a hot tub. (no pool though).
Restaurants
Elements restaurant serves international cuisine with fresh local produce. Served in the restaurant or Al fresco in the rose garden. The buffet breakfast is very good.
Negatives
It’s hard to find fault with Novotel Queenstown. It’s not 5 star, but if you want that Accor also have a Sofitel and a St Moritz nearby which offer that level of luxury. This is a great 4 star hotel in an unbeatable location.
