Oaks Queenstown Club Suites Overview
Oaks Queenstown Club Suites is hotel rooms, 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom apartments on the lakefront. It’s a really nice 20 minute walk to town or a couple of minutes by car (or the free hotel shuttle). While it’s a 4 star it really is at the top end of the category. The bathrooms have a more luxurious feel than most others at the price point. Because the offer apartments, its great for groups and families but also really good for couples as it’s got a bit of a romantic feel to it.
The hotel rooms are not huge but at 23 square metres they are 5 square metres larger than some others in this class. The apartments here are really great, many of them have excellent views. My favourite has a spa pool on the deck. (Only one apartment has a Hot Tub)
Restaurants
There’s no restaurant at Oaks Queenstown, but the apartments all have kitchens so you can cook if you like. (the hotel rooms have no kitchen)
Negatives
Not all the rooms have magnificent lake views like the photos. if you want the views pay the extra. Some rooms have shared decks, which isn’t to everyone’s taste. The rooms with the lake views are better furnished too. That said this is incredible value for Queenstown. The apartments are really spacious and the views some of the best available. Only one room has a spa pool on the deck. No in room laundry facilities.
