Swiss-Belresort Coronet Peak Overview
Perfect for young snowboarders or skiers looking to have fun. It’s cheap and basic. It has everything you need for a ski trip – a bed, a basic small bathroom, and a bar. They’ve also got a bowling alley and it’s without a doubt the best hotel bowling alley in all of Queenstown. This is really close to Coronet Peak, so great if you want to make first tracks in the morning. But not so good if you want to pop into town. It’s also great for mountain bikers in summer.
The Arthur’s Point area of Queenstown is developed with bars and places to eat but if you’re planning a big night you’ll want to head into Queenstown CBD. The rooms here are stuffed full of beds, which is just what you want in this kind of place. OK for families on tight budgets who don’t mind loud drunk neighbours. And perfect for groups of friends looking for a fun place that’s good value for money.
The rooms are a reasonable size at 28 square metres, but a triple or a family room is the same size. They’ve just stuffed more beds in the same space.

Not only do they have a restaurant that’s open for breakfast and dinner 7 days, they have 2 bars and the bowling alley.
Negatives
Looking for a romantic couples vacation? Look elsewhere. Have high standards of cleanliness? This is not for you. Do you like to have a few drinks and a good time after a days snowboarding then have a warm safe place to fall a sleep for a few hours before you get up and do it all again? Then this could be your place.
