Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park opened for business in 2022. This is an excellent new family hotel near Queenstown Airport when it opens. It’s big too, offering 182 rooms including 6 suites. While a standard King room is under $200 a night the suites are targeted at a the upper end of the market and are well over $400 per night.
The standard rooms are 28 sqm and the suites are a generous 42 sqm and have a seperate living space as well beautiful mountain views. The Standard King rooms can be upgraded to King room with balcony and King room with a mountain view. Expect to pay over $200 a night for a room with a nice mountain view.

Negatives
The drive to town is 10 minutes, and the hotel, is located in a shopping area next to the airport. You’ll need a car if you are staying here. That said if you are planning to ski Remarkables then it’s a good option. It’s also great if you want a nice new hotel at a reasonable cost. The location makes it cheaper than a comparable hotel in town or on the lakefront.
