Stoneridge Estate Overview
Stoneridge Estate is a winery, 5 star luxury lodge and stunning wedding venue with it’s own chapel. A short 15 minute drive from Queenstown in the Lake Hayes area, it’s got stunning lake views and a very instagramable infinity pool. Most hotels take incredible photos but don’t look quite so good in reality. Stoneridge is the opposite, the lodge really looks better in person than in their promotional photos.
There’s plenty of different styles of room to choose from spread across several buildings. They are all luxurious but the cottage is my pick for a romantic getaway. The medieval style may not be to everyone’s taste, but if not then the Lodge rooms will be perfect for you.
The suites range in size from 40 square metres to 74 square metres for the cottage. with most being a little over 50 sqm. So they are all very spacious. There’s some stunning mountain and lake views. 2 great pools plus a hot tub and sauna.
Stoneridge Estate Dining
Dining at the lodge is a real treat. The 5 course trust the chef degustation dinner is the way to go. Breakfast is included in all packages and is a mix of a fabulously fresh continental style and with a selection of hot items cooked to order. No rubbery buffet eggs are served here! There’s also a sensational cellar door experience for wine buffs.
Wellness
In addition to two pools, a hot tub and a sauna, Stoneridge offers a wide array of body treatments in your room, as well as massage.
Negatives
This property is amazing, the buildings are simply beautiful and really add to the landscape. However there is a highway between the lodge and the lake, it’s a minor complaint but there can be some traffic noise when enjoying the outdoor areas. This is easily one of the most picturesque wedding venues in Queenstown.
