Eichardt’s Private Hotel Overview
Eichardt’s Private Hotel is the most luxurious hotel in Queenstown. Hell it’s one of the most luxurious hotels anywhere in the world. Rooms here typically start from around $1500 per night while the Penthouse is closer to $10,000 a night. It does sleep 4 though. This is the best located hotel in Queenstown. It’s on the lake in the centre of town. The views are absolutely stunning, the rooms are as luxurious as it gets and yet most guests think the best thing is the service you get while you are there.
There are 1 and 2 bedroom suites available. The 1 bedroom suites are 70 square meters and the 2 bedroom suites are 80 square meters, while the 2 bedroom Penthouse is a massive 250 square meters, and has a huge terrace with a hot tub. Not only is breakfast included in the Penthouse but you also get a private chef who will cook for you in your suite or on the terrace bbq. Even the cheaper suites include breakfast and a pre dinner drink as standard (also valet parking). Every room has its own fireplace and as you’d expect the rooms are immaculately clean and very well furnished. Eichardt’s Private Hotel caters to people who travel in private jets, it’s awesome, there’s no better place to stay in Queenstown.
Restaurants
As you would expect The Grille offers an exceptional dining experience, surprisingly the prices are actually inline with any nice restaurant, the wine list has some eye watering expensive options but if you can’t afford to say here at least come for a meal. The Grille is open for Breakfast and dinner daily.
Eichardt’s Bar opened in 1867 so they’ve had plenty of practice mixing cocktails. And it shows, they are extraordinary. They’ve got a sensational wine list too. And a great tapas menu, as well as whiskey tastings and wine flights. Open from 11:30am to late every day. This is a great place to grab a bite for lunch.
Spa
Vault Spa is eye poppingly expensive but nobody will ever treat you this good again in your life. Our pick the romance package. 2 hours of bliss, includes a bottle of bubbles, sweet treats and an hour alone together in a private lounge.
Negatives
I can’t afford to live here. Seriously there is nothing bad about Eichardt’s Private Hotel but the price, and frankly even though it’s expensive it’s worth every penny. A very romantic hotel.
