QT Queenstown Overview
QT Hotels are known for their fun quirky, but very luxurious design and the 5 star QT Queenstown does not disappoint. The interior is fun, young, and sexy looking. The location isn’t lakefront, but it’s on a hill overlooking the lake so the views are still awesome. Located a short 10 minute walk from Ferg Burger (the heart of Queenstown).
The rooms at QT are very modern and very stylish. With nice deep baths big enough for two, or three if you’re really lucky. Not all rooms have views, but those that do are worth the small premium so splash out. Also worth it is the breakfast included options. The rooms range between 32 meters square and 40 meters square which is pretty generous. But really the main difference between them is the view.
Restaurants
QT has a really fun restaurant called Bazaar. They have a bloody Mary Station at the breakfast buffet which should tell you a lot about this hotel. The views from Bazaar are stunning. The food is top notch as well. With seasonal produce used to create amazing dishes right before your eyes. Meanwhile Reds Bar has just as great a view, plus some of the best cocktails in Queenstown, and plenty of tasty bites to eat.
Negatives
QT is a long walk from the centre of town in heels. That’s about it really, otherwise this is a magnificent hotel. They target younger guests (and young at heart) for whom the walk is probably not to much of a chore anyway.
