And, as you’d expect, the fit-out is superb, with every detail perfect and only the highest quality fixtures and fittings. Brand new in March 2022, this is one of the finest small hotels in the world.
Oro Restaurant
Dining at The Carlin is an experience not to be missed with a Michelin-starred chef serving the finest produce available in New Zealand. Oro is open for Breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week.

Every suite at The Carlin Boutique Hotel has a hot tub on the deck, but it doesn’t stop there. The Carlin offers an in-room spa treatment, so you can get a massage on your private deck or in your room.
Negatives
This Carlin is a stunning new luxury hotel targeting Royalty, celebrities, and visiting billionaires, so the price is an issue for everyday New Zealanders wanting to stay. Still, it isn’t out of reach for a special occasion. At this price point in Queenstown CBD, you have two options. The other one is right on the waterfront, which some will prefer. But nobody will leave The Carlin feeling anything other than totally satisfied.
