The Central Private Hotel by Naumi Hotels Overview
Not to be confused with Eichardt’s Private Hotel by any means. The Central Private Hotel is in a great location, with incredibly polite and well trained staff. Like all Naumi Hotels it’s very arty and a little bit quirky. Guests here rave about the staff, even guests who are complaining say the staff are amazing. The location is great, a short walk from the centre of town.
It’s the low end of 5 star. There is no real restaurant, just continental breakfast and a happy hour in the lounge in the evening. Couples like this hotel, it’s nice but not really flash. The arty decor makes it more suitable for couples than families. The rooms are 30 square meters which is about average. The standard of fitting is adequate but you won’t say wow when you walk into the bathrooms, and the decor elsewhere won’t be to everyone’s taste. If you’re seriously rich this isn’t for you.

There’s no restaurant here. But don’t worry there’s plenty nearby. They do serve continental breakfast in the lounge. Also drinks at happy hour every evening. The friendly knowledgeable staff can help you find a restaurant that fits your taste and budget.
Negatives
Just barely 5 star, not in the same league as many others in Queenstown, to be fair there are some really nice hotels here so competition is stiff. There’s not a lot of views, but it’s close to town. The bathrooms are pretty plain, and it feels a little like a dressed up motel, however the staff and location make up for a lot of that.
